Baby loungers recalled for violating infant sleep product safety standard

About 490 YGJT baby loungers sold on SHEIN.com are being recalled because low sides, oversized foot openings and the lack of a stand create an unsafe infant sleeping environment.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Scored 3 under the risk-of-harm criterion: the standards violations pose fall and entrapment hazards to infants, and the notice states no incidents have been reported.

Plain-English summary

YGJT baby loungers are being recalled. The loungers are made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover, in white and light blue with rainbows and bears on the cover. "YGJT" is printed on a label attached to the outside of the cover.

The loungers violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products. The sides are too low to contain an infant, and the enclosed openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than allowed, posing fall and entrapment hazards. The loungers also have no stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. The CPSC states these violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants and can cause death or serious injury. No injuries or incidents have been reported.

About 490 units were sold on SHEIN.com from June 2025 through August 2025 for between $18 and $21.

Consumers should immediately stop using the loungers and contact YGJT Local Warehouse for a full refund. They should remove the foam and pads from the cover, cut the cover, foam and pad in half, and email photos of the destroyed pieces to [email protected] to obtain the refund.
