Plain-English summary

AUGNORYE padded cushioned crib bumpers are being recalled. The polyester pink bumpers were sold in four pieces measuring approximately 27 inches by 9.6 inches and 52 inches by 9.6 inches, with a care label carrying a series of letters and numbers stitched to the bumper. About 356 units are affected.

The stated hazard is that the bumpers violate the federal crib bumper ban because they can obstruct an infant's breathing, posing a suffocation hazard and creating an unsafe sleeping environment. Padded crib bumpers are banned by the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. No injuries or incidents have been reported.

The bumpers were sold on Amazon from February 2025 through May 2025 for between $40 and $45.

Consumers should immediately stop using the bumpers and contact YIXIA for a full refund, which requires removing the bumpers, cutting the straps and padding and emailing a photo of the destroyed bumpers. YIXIA and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.
