Endless Pools of Aston, Pennsylvania is recalling about 11,500 Manual Retractable Security Pool Covers sold between January 1994 and December 2024. The covers feature a hand crank mechanism and were sold in various colors and sizes ranging from 8 to 16 feet wide.

When installed incorrectly, the pool covers can leave a gap of more than 4.5 inches between the cover roller and the pool surface. This improper installation causes the covers to fail to conform to the voluntary industry standard ASTM F-1346, creating drowning and entrapment hazards that could result in serious injury or death to children.

No injuries have been reported. Pool owners and operators should immediately contact Endless Pools for a free inspection and repair. Until repairs are completed, children should not use or access the pool or pool cover unsupervised. Do not allow anyone, especially children, to sit, stand, or jump on the pool cover at any time.
