What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: The source explicitly identifies risks of "serious injury or death" from entrapment and drowning hazards in violation of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act. Although no injuries have been reported, the statutory violation combined with the identified risk of death and serious injury meets the criteria for Severe (score 4).
