Plain-English summary
ONTHEWEI is recalling approximately 2,140 baby bath seats due to a risk of serious injury or death from drowning. The recalled products violate the mandatory standard for infant bath seats because they are unstable and can tip over while in use.
The affected bath seats are sold in gray, pink, blue, and mist green. They feature detachable restraint arms and suction cups on the underside. A label on the back of the seat displays “Model No: MY002” and “Date of manufacturer: 2026/1/10.”
The seats were sold online at Amazon.com in April 2026 for between $40 and $50. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should stop using the recalled bath seats immediately and contact ONTHEWEI by email at [email protected] for a full refund. Consumers are instructed to destroy the bath seat by writing “RECALLED” on the front, disassembling it, cutting the suction cups, and sending a photo of the destroyed product to the company before disposing of it.
