The CPSC is recalling about 600 Multifunctional Puzzle Crab Toys (model HY-99) sold exclusively on Walmart.com from November 2023 through January 2025. The toy set includes a magnetic fish hook, 8 magnetic pieces, 4 plastic puzzle pieces, and a plastic mallet.

The toys violate federal regulations for magnet toys. When high-powered magnets from the toy are swallowed, they can attract each other or metal objects in the digestive system and become lodged. This can cause perforations, twisting and blockage of the intestines, infection, blood poisoning, and death.
