APOTHEKE Pumpkin Ginger Scented Candles Recalled for Fire and Burn Hazards

APOTHEKE has recalled approximately 640 of its 26 oz. Pumpkin Ginger 3-Wick Scented Candles due to a defect that causes the flame to burn excessively high. The overheating flame can ignite the candle, and the heat can cause the glass container to break, posing fire, burn, and laceration hazards.

The candles are white scented candles in 26 oz. amber glass containers with "APOTHEKE" printed in gold on the front. Batch code "CB-240603" is printed on a label on the underside of the container. The candles were sold at Crate & Barrel stores nationwide and online at crateandbarrel.com from June 2024 through January 2025 for approximately $80.

APOTHEKE has received six reports of the candles' flames burning too high. Of these incidents, four resulted in minor property damage including singed surfaces, and one resulted in a minor burn to a consumer's hand.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled candles. APOTHEKE is offering a full refund in the form of online store credit or a check.
