The recalled candles were sold individually wrapped in a ribbon on a plate, or in boxed sets of three under the Restore & Restyle brand. They are cream in color and were sold in sizes 3 by 3 inches, 3 by 6 inches, 4 by 6 inches, and 6 by 6 inches.
The candles were sold at Target stores nationwide from September 2004 through March 2005 for between $6 and $15. There have been 24 reports of the candles catching fire and six reports of property damage. No injuries have been reported.
Consumers should stop using the candles immediately and return them to the nearest Target store to receive a $15 gift card, plus applicable state taxes.
