Polaris RZR Pro XP 4 Vehicles Recalled Due to Fire Hazard
Polaris is recalling about 600 model year 2021-2022 RZR Pro XP 4 recreational off-road vehicles because a fuel leak at the fuel pump assembly joint can occur near a hot surface, creating a fire hazard. The vehicles come in Premium, Sport, and Ultimate trim levels, available in black, white, orange, green, and graphite, and feature a four-seat configuration.
A fuel leak can occur at the fuel pump assembly joint on the fuel tank in close proximity to a hot surface, posing a fire hazard. The recalled vehicles were sold nationwide through Polaris dealers from March 2021 through August 2022 at prices ranging from $25,999 to $37,400.
To date, Polaris has received five reports of fuel leaks, including one report of fire. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair. The dealer will replace the fuel tank assembly at no charge.
