Solaray Liposomal Multivitamins Recalled for Non-Child-Resistant Packaging

Nutraceutical Corporation is recalling approximately 85,300 bottles of Solaray Liposomal Multivitamins because the packaging does not meet child-resistant requirements under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, creating a poisoning risk for young children.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: This recall involves iron-containing products lacking required child-resistant packaging, which creates a clear risk of harm to children through poisoning. Although no illnesses or injuries have been reported, the regulatory violation and inherent risk to a vulnerable population (young children) meet the criteria for a High severity rating.

Plain-English summary
