The bowl holders are made of cotton and linen fabric and measure 6.5 inches square (small) or 8 inches square (large), available in 27 designs, with "DEMDACO" printed on the sewn-in tag.

The fabric can char after being microwaved for the suggested three minutes, posing a fire hazard. The company has received three reports of incidents involving charring and the bowl holders catching fire. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled product was sold from June 2020 through March 2022 for approximately $23 at gift shops, hardware stores, florists, drug stores, and pharmacies nationwide, as well as online through Demdaco.com, Target.com, Amazon.com, and Zulily.com.

Consumers should immediately stop using the microwavable bowl holders and contact Demdaco for a full refund.
