The products are sold in 15 mL amber glass bottles with black caps. The recall is due to a failure to meet the child-resistant packaging requirements of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.

The products contain methyl salicylate, a substance that requires child-resistant packaging. The affected products were sold online at Rockymountainoils.com and Amazon.com from May 2014 through October 2020 for between $16 and $35. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and store them in a safe location out of reach of children.
