The recall includes the Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic, Flip Front2back, and Up Close Newborn carriers. The buckles on these carriers can break, which could cause the infant to fall.

The recalled carriers are cotton with a front padded pouch and feature either a black body with black straps or a gray body with black straps. Only carriers with specific lot codes are included in the recall: 2018 0619 and 2018 0719 for the Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier, 2018 0719 for the Flip Front2back Carrier, and 2018 0719 for the Up Close Newborn Carrier. The product name and lot code are identified on a label sewn into the inside of the carriers.

The carriers were sold at Target and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from November 2019 through December 2019 for between $30 and $50. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled infant carriers and contact Infantino for instructions on how to receive a free replacement carrier.
