The blankets were sold online at swaddlebee.com and on the Swaddle Bee Instagram account from September 2018 through May 2019 for about $24. The recalled blankets feature polyester minky fabric on one side and velour on the other, measuring approximately 16 inches by 16 inches. They are available in blue/gray, blue/white, pink/gray, and pink/white color combinations, some with optional personalized embroidery. Each blanket includes two straps with metal snaps at the ends to attach the blanket to a stroller, crib, car seat, or wrist, and features a sewn-on Swaddle Bee logo tag.

The hazard exists because the metal snaps on the blankets can detach, creating a choking risk for children. Swaddle Bee has received two reports of the metal snaps detaching, but no injuries have been reported. The blankets were manufactured in China.
