L.L. Bean sold these booties through its catalogs, websites, and retail stores in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia from July 2006 through December 2006 for about $16.50. The company has received six reports of the metal tab detaching, but no injuries have been reported.
