What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a risk-of-harm product (burn injuries) where no injuries have been reported, which aligns with the High severity criteria for risk-of-harm products without reported injury.
Plain-English summary
Just Love Fashion is recalling Prince of Sleep-branded children's pajama pants due to a violation of the federal flammability standard for children's sleepwear. The recalled pants are made of 100 percent micro polyester fleece and feature a green football print. They were sold in sizes 4 through 14/16. The brand name and size are printed on the waistband's top sewn-in label, while GPU 12001 and FPU 10001 are printed on the label underneath.
The pants fail to meet the required flammability standards, which poses a risk of burn injuries to children. The company has not reported any injuries associated with the product. Approximately 1,400 units were sold online at Amazon.com and Ebay.com between August 2017 and March 2019 for prices ranging from $6 to $13. The products were manufactured in China.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajama pants away from children. Just Love Fashion is contacting known purchasers directly to provide instructions for receiving a full refund. Consumers can also contact Just Love Fashion toll-free at 888-330-9632 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or email [email protected] with “Product Recall” as the subject.
