Plain-English summary
The Children's Place Services Company LLC is recalling about 14,900 girls' infant snowsuits in sizes 0 to 18 months. The recalled snowsuits were sold in two styles and three colors/patterns: White Sophy floral (Style #2111187), Jazzberry ladybug (Style #2111187), and Rosebud heart (Style #2111188). The snowsuits are 100% polyester with matching print hoods, detachable mittens, and a front zipper covered by a fabric snap flap.
The recall is due to a choking hazard because the metal snaps on the snowsuits can detach. The snowsuits were sold in The Children's Place stores nationwide and online from August 2018 through November 2018 for about $50. An additional 750 units were sold in Canada.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled snowsuits away from children and stop using them. They can return the snowsuits to any The Children's Place store for a full refund. Online customers will receive return instructions by email from The Children's Place for a full refund.
