The recalled jackets were sold at The Children's Place stores nationwide and online at www.childrensplace.com from December 2014 through July 2015 for about $30. An additional 2,200 units were sold in Canada. The jackets have "The Children's Place" printed on a tag at the neck and a white sewn-in label at the side seam with product numbers 158805, 158806, 158807 and vendor number 1408. The jackets were manufactured in Pakistan.
No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately take the recalled jackets away from children and return them to any The Children's Place store for a full refund. If the jacket was purchased online, consumers should contact The Children's Place to receive a postage-paid envelope to return the jacket for a full refund.
