The recalled vehicles have a 90 cubic centimeter engine and were sold in black and yellow. The vehicles were sold at Can-Am dealers nationwide from May 2015 through September 2015 for between $2,800 and $3,800.

The recall is due to a defect in the fuel filter, which can break and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard. BRP has received eight reports of the fuel filter breaking and leaking at dealerships. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free repair. BRP is also notifying registered consumers directly.
