The hazard exists because when weight is applied to the storage bar, the screws holding the mounting plate can pull out of the bar, allowing the storage bar to fall. The firm has received one report of a short storage bar pulling away from the wall, but no injuries have been reported.

The storage bars were sold at Cost Plus World Market and World Market stores nationwide and online at www.worldmarket.com from June 2014 through August 2014 for between about $20 and $25.
