Spectrum Brands, Inc. is recalling certain Rayovac LED Industrial and Value Bright flashlights. The recall involves models ILED2AA, BRSELED2AA-BA, and BRSELED2AA-BDGDI, which use two AA batteries. The flashlights were manufactured in Indonesia and sold in the United States and Canada from February 2012 through December 2013. Approximately 225,000 units were sold in the United States and 7,000 in Canada.

The recalled flashlights can cause the batteries to overheat and melt the flashlight's plastic casing, posing a burn hazard. Spectrum Brands has received reports of 12 flashlights overheating and melting during use. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

Consumers should stop using the recalled flashlights immediately and remove the batteries. They can contact Spectrum Brands for a full refund or register for the recall at www.rovrecall.com. The date code is printed on a white sticker inside the flashlight's tube.
