Approximately 225,000 units were sold in the United States and 7,000 in Canada.

The recalled flashlights can cause the batteries to overheat and melt the flashlight's plastic casing, posing a burn hazard. Spectrum Brands has received reports of 12 flashlights overheating and melting during use. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
