Approximately 2,500 units were sold nationwide from February to October 2013 to professional fence contractors, dealers, and gate manufacturers for between $50 and $60. The latches were manufactured in China.
No injuries were reported in connection with this recall. Consumers should contact Nationwide Industries at (800) 409-3901 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or via email at [email protected], to obtain a replacement striker kit that can be installed with a Phillips head screwdriver.
