The carts feature a white and blue aluminum frame, rubber tires, and two black nylon straps marked L.L.Bean.

The recall is being issued because the cart's plastic wheel rims can burst when the rubber tires are over-inflated. L.L.Bean has received two reports of the plastic wheel rims bursting. In one incident, a consumer was struck by broken, flying pieces, resulting in bruises. No injuries were reported in the second incident.

Consumers should stop using the cart and call L.L.Bean or visit the company's website to obtain new instructions and psi stickers for the wheels. Users should not add air to the tires until they have reviewed the new instructions regarding the maximum inflation level.
