The recall involves strollers with model numbers MT12-03, MT12-11, MT12-14, MT12-31, MT12-34, MT12-37, MT12-39, MT12-42, MT12-43, and MT12-48. These strollers feature black or silver-colored metal frames with brown, navy blue, black, or white seats, and the word "EVO" is printed on the lower back frame. The model number and date code are located on a white sticker underneath the stroller seat.

The recall is due to a strangulation hazard. The opening between the grab bar and the seat bottom of the stroller can allow an infant's body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck. This poses a risk to young children when a child is not harnessed. Mutsy USA has not reported any injuries associated with this defect.

The strollers were sold at juvenile product stores nationwide and on websites, including Amazon.com, between April 2012 and December 2012 for approximately $400.
