Cabot Wood Cleaner and Brightener Recalled for Chemical Leak Hazard

The affected products were sold at Ace Hardware, Do It Best, Farm & Fleet, Lowes Home Improvement Stores, United Hardware, and other hardware stores nationwide from March 2011 until June 2012 for about $25. The Wood Cleaner bottles have UPC code 080351810503, and the Wood Brightener bottles have UPC code 080351810497. Three incidents of leaks have been reported, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately discontinue use of these products and return them to the store of purchase for a full refund. Consumers should also not attempt to reuse empty containers.
