The gliders were sold nationwide at Backyard Buildings and More and Lowe's stores, as well as online at Costco.com, BettyMills.com, and BackyardBuildings.com, from February 2008 through May 2009 for about $100. The company has received one report of a retaining ring falling off, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the gliders. Backyard Play Systems is notifying customers directly and providing a free repair kit that includes replacement hardware and written instructions.
