About 700 units were sold at retail stores in New Jersey and New York from February 2008 through March 2009 for about $1 each. The pacifiers feature a ring-shaped handle, a round-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes, and a nipple containing gel-like liquid. "Jaloma" is printed on the handle side of the mouth guard.
