The Land of Nod is recalling approximately 500 Rolling Toy Xylophones due to a choking hazard. The recalled product is a rolling xylophone made of metal, wood, and plastic, featuring four wheels, a pull string, and eight metal bars attached with two pegs each. The name 'Janod' is printed on the sides and back wheels of the toy.
The pegs on the xylophone can break, creating small parts that pose a choking hazard to children. The Land of Nod has received 22 reports of broken pegs, but no injuries have been reported. The toys were sold through The Land of Nod catalogue, website, and retail stores nationwide from October 2007 through March 2008 for about $45. The products were manufactured in China.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled product away from children. To obtain a remedy, consumers should return the product to The Land of Nod for a credit of the purchase price and a $10 gift card.
