Battat Inc. is recalling its Musical Wooden Table Toys due to a choking hazard. The toys feature a green painted table surface with colorful instruments, including a xylophone, cymbal, drum, and two drumsticks. Small pegs on the xylophone can loosen and detach, creating a risk for young children.
Approximately 14,000 units were sold at music and toy stores nationwide and online from September 2006 to October 2010 for about $30. The toys were manufactured in China. CPSC and Battat have received nine reports of loose and detached pegs, but no injuries have been reported.
