The recalled models have date codes between 212-6CK and 325-6CK or 001-7CK and 232-7CK marked on the bottom. The packaging for the Freightway Transport model is marked H5705, and the Special Track Pack model is marked K3013.
The recall was issued because the surface paints on the toys contain excessive levels of lead, which violates the lead paint standard. The toys were sold at retail stores nationwide from September 2006 through August 2007 for between $3 and $16. The products were manufactured in China.
