About 24,000 units were sold nationwide at Christmas stores, school fundraisers, mail order, and specialty stores from September 2001 through December 2006 for between $4 and $25. The candles were manufactured in Hong Kong. CPSC has received one report of a flare-up with damage contained to the candle, but no injuries have been reported.
