The recall includes all 2004, 2005, and 206 Firecat and Sabercat models, as well as all 2003 Firecat carbureted models. These snowmobiles were sold at Arctic Cat dealerships nationwide from May 2002 through April 2006 for between $6,500 and $8,500. Arctic Cat has received 217 warranty claims related to fuel leakage, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using these snowmobiles immediately unless instructed otherwise. Registered owners have been notified by mail. Consumers who are unsure if their snowmobile is affected should contact their local Arctic Cat snowmobile dealer to schedule a free repair. They should have the model name and number available, which can be found on the registration materials or operator's manual.
