The recall is due to a defect where some attachments are missing an "O" ring in the handle. This omission allows hot steam and water to escape, creating a burn hazard for consumers. The company has received 22 complaints regarding steam escaping, which could burn the user holding the cleaner. None of the reported incidents required medical treatment.
Consumers should stop using the product immediately. QVC is providing repair kits to consumers. To obtain a repair kit, consumers can call QVC Customer Service toll-free at (800) 367-9444 between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. ET, seven days per week. Alternatively, consumers may call Euroflex toll-free at (888) 896-8786, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.
