These trailers are designed to carry two children and were sold for about $350 at authorized Burley dealers and bicycle shops nationwide during the same period.

The recall is being issued because the wheel can separate from the trailer during use. This defect can result in crashes and injuries to children riding inside the trailer. Additionally, the loss of control of the bicycle pulling the trailer can cause the rider to crash and suffer injuries. Burley has received one report of a wheel coming off, causing the bicycle rider to fall and suffer minor injuries.

Consumers should stop using these Burley-Bravo trailers immediately. They should return the trailers to the store where they were purchased for a free inspection and repair, if needed.
