Ford Transit Connect Shifter Cable Bushing May Cause Gear Shift Failures
Ford is recalling 2013-2021 Transit Connect vehicles because the shifter cable bushing may degrade and prevent intended gear selection. This can cause unintended vehicle movement or rollaway after selecting Park, increasing crash and injury risk.
