Some retail products from EST. M-47484 do not bear a USDA mark of inspection. Specific items listed include Rocky Mountain General Store and Meats Sweet BBQ Seasoned Sticks, Bob’s Processing Honey BBQ Seasoned Chicken Wings, Bob’s Processing Honey BBQ Snack Sticks, and Main Street Meat Company Hickory Smoked Meat Snack Sticks. Some of these products were distributed nationwide.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products. FSIS and FDA are coordinating on this issue, and the situation is evolving, meaning additional products may be added to the alert. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
