FSIS notes that a formal recall was not requested because the products were sold directly to individual members of the public and are believed to no longer be available for direct purchase from the establishment. However, FSIS is concerned that some product may still be in consumers’ pantries.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Consumers with food allergies who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and should throw them away. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a health care provider.
