The recall was initiated after a plant quality assurance technician discovered during a routine check that the products exhibited an incorrect back label. While the top of the package had the correct label, the back label failed to list soy sauce as an ingredient, which is the source of the wheat. Consequently, wheat was not sub-listed in the ingredients statement or in the 'Contains' allergen declaration. The products were shipped to retail locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Southern Virginia.
