Nissan Rogue electronic throttle body gears may break during driving

Nissan is recalling certain 2024-2025 Rogue vehicles with the 1.5L VC-Turbo engine because the gears in the electronic throttle body assembly may break, causing a loss of drive power.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: broken gears in the throttle body produce a loss of drive power rather than a degraded secondary function.
