The defect affects the seat belt assembly anchorage and violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210. To remedy the issue, dealers will install a new weld nut and washer at no charge to owners.
Approximately 242 vehicles are affected across model years 2019 through 2026. Owners who received notification letters mailed on December 16, 2025, should contact Volvo Trucks customer service at 1-800-528-6586 to schedule their repair.
