Ford vehicles recalled for low-pressure fuel pump failure risk

The low-pressure fuel pump in the fuel system may fail.
A fuel pump failure can result in an engine stall while the vehicle is being driven. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy is still under development. Ford mailed initial notification letters to owners on July 16, 2025, and a second letter with repair instructions will be sent once the remedy is available, which Ford anticipates will be in the second quarter of 2026.
