Mercedes-Benz Recalls Vehicles With Incorrect Fuse Boxes From Prior Repair

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is recalling certain 2023-2024 C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, SL, GLC, EQE SUV, EQE, EQS SUV, and EQS vehicles. These vehicles were incorrectly repaired under a previous recall (24V-115) and may have been installed with a fuse box not designed for the specific vehicle.

An incorrect fuse box can result in a sudden loss of drive power or a loss of critical safety functions, such as restraint systems or the instrument cluster, which increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the defect could increase the risk of a fire.

Dealers will inspect and replace the main fuse boxes free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 6, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236.
