Plain-English summary
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 Rizon FEC7K and FEC9K trucks. The recall affects vehicles equipped with turn signals integrated into the Koito headlights. A defective bulb socket may cause the front turn signals to burn out.
Inoperative turn signals cannot show the driver's intentions to other road users, which increases the risk of a crash. MFTA has not reported any accidents or injuries related to this defect.
Dealers will replace the headlights free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 8, 2025. Owners may contact MFTA customer service at 1-877-711-0707 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
