Jayco Recalls 2024-2025 Motorhomes Due to Incorrect Federal Load Labels

Jayco is recalling specific 2024 and 2025 motorhomes because incorrect Federal labels may allow the vehicles to be overloaded, increasing crash risk.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a risk-of-harm product where the defect (incorrect load labels) increases the risk of a crash, but no injuries or fatalities have been reported in the source text.

Plain-English summary

Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2024 Entegra Condor, Jayco Granite Ridge, 2025 Jayco Alante SE, Redhawk SE, and Entegra Odyssey SE motorhomes. The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) listed on the Federal label may be incorrect, which could allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - other than passenger cars."

An overloaded vehicle increases the risk of a crash. The recall affects 15 vehicles in total. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 31, 2025.

Jayco will mail new labels to owners free of charge. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903622.
