2025 BMW X3 Battery Cable Connection May Overheat and Stall Engine

Owners should contact BMW customer service at 800-525-7417 to schedule service. Dealers will inspect and tighten the connection between the positive battery cable and the starter-generator, or replace both components if necessary, at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 5, 2025.
