Honda and Acura fuel injection software error can stall the engine
Honda is recalling certain 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type-S, 2023-2025 Pilot and 2021-2025 Acura TLX Type-S vehicles because a fuel injection control unit software error may cause an engine stall or loss of power.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: the source states the fault can stall the engine, which is a total loss of propulsion rather than a degraded function.
