Morbark Recalls 2018-2024 Trailers Due to Electrical Fire Risk

Alamo Group Inc. is recalling certain 2018-2024 Morbark EB1821, EB2131, EB2230, and M20 trailers. The recall involves 128 units where the electrical wires in the Power Distribution Module (PDM) may be loose.

Loose wires can contact the PDM plate, resulting in electrical arcing between the wiring and the plate. This electrical arcing can increase the risk of a fire.

Dealers will secure the electrical wires free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 18, 2024. Owners may contact Morbark's customer service at 1-800-255-8839 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
