2022 RAM 2500 Electronic Stability Control Software Defect

When the ESC system is disabled, the vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126 (Electronic Stability Control Systems). Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.
The recall affects approximately 211,581 vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning July 11, 2024. Chrysler dealers will update the ABS control module software at no charge to owners.
