What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: This is a structural vehicle defect involving fire risk in the power seat motor assembly. Although no injuries have been reported, the inherent danger of vehicle fire justifies a Severe rating under the rubric criterion of structural vehicle defect.
