Kia Telluride front seat back frames may not restrain occupants

Kia is recalling certain 2025 Telluride vehicles with power front seats because a manufacturing error may leave the driver and passenger seat back frame assemblies unable to properly restrain occupants in a crash.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: the seat back frame is the structure that holds an occupant in place, and the source states it may fail to restrain them in a crash.
